Line Drawing Example

This example demonstrates how to interactively draw polylines on the map using the DMap3D SDK.

Preview

The user left-clicks to add polyline vertices in sequence, and right-clicks to finish drawing, with support for ground-clamping mode.

Key Code Explanation

1. Create Line Drawing Tool

const tool = new DMap3D.drawing.polyline({
viewer,
style: {
width: 3, // Line width (pixels)
color: '#FF0000', // Line color
alpha: 1.0, // Opacity
},
clampToGround: true, // Clamp to ground
})

2. Load from Data

// Longitude-latitude array format
tool.loadFromData([
[116.39, 39.90, 0],
[116.40, 39.91, 0],
[116.41, 39.90, 0],
])

// Cartesian3 format
tool.loadFromData([
Cesium.Cartesian3.fromDegrees(116.39, 39.90),
Cesium.Cartesian3.fromDegrees(116.40, 39.91),
])

3. Dynamically Update Style

tool.setStyle({
width: 5,
color: '#00FF00',
alpha: 0.8,
})

Extended Features

  1. Dashed Line Style - Support dashed and arrow line types
  2. Distance Labels - Label lengths on line segments
  3. Vertex Editing - Drag to modify polyline vertices
  4. Path Animation - Play animation along the line path
